frequency=2khz=2000hz.
wavelength=35cm=0.35m
we know that,
speed=wavelength×frequency
=0.35×2000=700m/s.
the time taken by the wave to travel a distance,d of 1.5km is:
t=d/v=1.5×1000/700=15/7=2.1s.
hence,sound will take 2.1s to travel a distance of 1.5km.hope it helps you!!Mark as brainliest.

Frequency is the Number of Waves passing through a Point in One Second

Given : The Frequency of the Sound is 2 kHz = 2000 Hz

It means 2000 Waves are passing through a Point in One Second

Given : The Wavelength of the Wave is 35 cm

⇒ In One Sec, The Wave travels a Distance of : 2000 × 35 cm

⇒ In One Sec, The Wave travels a Distance of : 70000 cm

⇒ In One Sec, The Wave travels a Distance of : 700 m

⇒ In One Sec, The Wave travels a Distance of : 0.7 km

⇒ In \bf(\frac{1.5}{0.7}\;Sec), The Wave travels a Distance of : 1.5 km

⇒ In 2.143 Seconds, The Wave travels a Distance of 1.5 km
