first we have to find speed of wave= frequency of wave× wavelength of wave

frequency= 2×1000=2000htz
wavelength=35cm=0.35m

hence speed =2000×0.35
=700m/s

now time= distance/speed
where distance= 1.4km=1400m

time= 1400/700=2sec
