pressure amplitude , \Delta P_m = 14 Pascal = 14 × 10^5 N/m²

we know, standard equation of pressure wave is P=\Delta P_mcos\left(\frac{2\pi t}{T}\right)

so, maximum pressure = +\Delta P_m

minimum pressure = -\Delta P_m

so, difference between maximum pressure and minimum pressure in the medium is \Delta P_m-(-\Delta P_m) = 2\Delta P_m

= 2 × 14 × 10^5 N/m²

= 28 × 10^5 N/m²

= 2.8 × 10^6 N/m²

hence, answer is 2.8 × 10^6 N/
