Answer:

Frequency has increased four times

Explanation:

We know that  λ = v/f  or v=λf ----------(1)

And we know that v = λ/ T      -----------(2)

By equation (1) and (2)

v=λf= λ/ T⇒f×t

Or v=f×t ⇒ f=v/t

Where λ=wavelength v=velocity f=frequencyt= time

In normal situation

f1=v/t       -------------------------(3)

In given situation

Time became four times

∴f2=v/4t   -------------------------(4)

By eq (3) and (4)

f1/f2= v/t/v/4t = v×4t/v×t =4:1

So we can say that frequency has increased 4 times
