wave length(WL)= t*v
t=1/f
v= 440
WL=4cm=4/100=0.04m
0.04=440*1/f
f=440/0.04=11000Hz

hey!!

here is your answer. =>

as we know,

Velocity = wavelenght times frequency..

as the wavelenght is in Cm we will have to divide 4 with 100. As, 1 meter is 100cm.

velocity is 440m/s.

wave lenght is 4/10^2

we have to find the frequency..

let us substitute all these in the formula.

let's take the frequency as X

440 = X * 0.04

=> 440/0.04 = X

=> 44000/4 = X

x = 11,000.

the frequency is 11,000 Hz

which is also, 11 KHz

hope my answer helps you!
