We know, frequency f= V/λ
f₁= v₁/λ₁ and f₂=v₂/λ₂
But frequency remains constant irrespective of medium. So f₁=f₂
v₁/λ₁ =v₂/λ₂
v₂=(v₁/λ₁)×λ₂
= (344/0.86)×0.8
=320 m/s
