frequency = 2hz

wavelength =40cm

=40/100

=0.4m

(1cm=1/100m)

distance=1.6km

=1.6×1000m

=1600m

(1km=1000m)

speed of sound (v)= frequency×wavelenth

v= 2×0.4

v=0.8m/s

speed=distance/time

time=distance/speed

time=1600/0.8

time=2000sec

hence the time required to travel 1.6km is 2000sec
