Answer:

Given:

EMF of cells = 15V

Current in circuit = 2 A

Time = 6 minutes

To find:

Energy generated in the form of Heat

Formulas used:

H = i² × R × T,

where i is current, R is resistance and T is time.

Calculation:

Resistance = V/i = 15/2 = 7.5 ohms.

Heat = i² × R × T

=> H = 2² × (7.5) × (6×60)

=> H = 10800 Joules.

Given :----

  • EMF = 15v
  • Current in circuit = 2A
  • Time = 6 minutes

To Find :-----

  • Energy Provided in this time in form of heat ?

Formula used :----

Heat energy = I² × R × t = (I × R) × I × t = V × I × t

Here, I = current

R = resistance

t = time (in seconds)

V = potential difference ...

1 minute = 60 second .

Calculation :---

putting values we get,

Heat energy = 15 × 2 × 6 × 60 = 10800 Joule..

(Hope it Helps you)
