since wavelength= the distance between two compressions or two rarefactions, therefore wavelength=2×50cm=100cm=1m
since 1 compression + 1 rarefaction =1 wave, therefore 20 compressions + 20 rarefactions=20 waves...
since the source of sound produces 20 waves in 0.2 seconds therefore the source produces 20×5=100 waves in 1 second...therefore freqhency=100 Hz...therefore T(time period)=1/F=1/100=0.01s
