Time period is the time taken by a wave to pass through a point.
So
50 waves are produced in=0.5 s
1 wave is produced in=5/10X1/500
=5/500
=1/100=0.01 s
Hope it helps!!!

The time period of the wave is 0.01 s
- Source produces 50 crests and 50 troughs.
- Hence, 50 waves are formed.
Frequency(n) = number of oscillations/sec
= 50/0.5
= 100 Hz
- Time period of the wave is given by
Time period(T) = 1/n
= 1/100
= 0.01 s
