To find:

(i) Its position after 1 hour.

Solution:

We know that 1 hour = 60mins.

So, distance descended = (60*5) km

= 300km

New position after 1 hour = (4525-300) km

= 4225 km above earth's surface.

So, the new position is 4225km from earth's surface.
