Answer:

Distance=3.48x10^8m

1km =1000m

3.48x10^8x1000

Speed = distance/time

Time = distance/speed

Time = 3.48x10^8x1000/12

Time = 29x10^9

Answer:

~ 8.1 hrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of space craft = 12 km/sec = 12000 m/sec.

distance of earth from moon =  3.48 X 10⁸ m.

Time taken = Distance/Speed = 3.48 X 10⁸/ 12 X 10³

                                                  = 3.48 X 10⁵/12 = 29000 sec

                                                  = 29000/3600 hr.

                                                   = 8 . 056 hr ~ 8.1 hrs.
