A sparrow flies to and fro from its nest, finding seeds (food) and taking them back to feed its young ones. In order to find seeds, it must reach a designated searching ground, then spend half an hour searching for the seeds and then return to the nest. If it is fast and flies at the speed of 12 kmph, it will get back at the nest at 5 pm which is close to dusk and proper time for food. But, if it is slow and flies only at 9 kmph, it will reach back the nest at 7 pm which will be too late. What should the sparrow's speed be, in order that it can feed its young ones at 6 pm?

Here is the answer

House Sparrows are closely associated with people and their buildings. Look for them in cities, towns, suburbs, and farms (particularly around livestock). You won’t find them in extensive woodlands, forests, or grasslands. In extreme environments such as deserts or the far north, House Sparrows survive only in the immediate vicinity of people
