a special cereal mixture contains rice,wheat and corn in the ratio of 2:3:5 . if a bag of the mixture contains 3kg, how many corn does it contain​

the answer is 1.5 kg is corn

rice:wheat:corn = 2:3:5

which means ,

rice = 20%

wheat = 30%

corn = 50%

now if whole mixture is 3 kg then corn we have already known that it is 50%

so we will find out 50% of 3 kg

that is 3/2 = 1.5 kg

therefore corn Is 1.5 kg
