A special dice has a number on each face , the sums of the numbers on opposite faces are all equal . Five of the number are 5, 6, 9 , 11 and 14 ? What number in on sixth dice ? A - 4. B - 7. C - 8 D -13 E - 15

So we can't sum 5 + 6 because it would be 11

And we have 11 on one side

We can also reject 5 and 9 on opposite side because 5 + 9 is 14 and we also have 14 on one side

So Let us try different combination

Assume 6 and 14 on opposite sides

Then there sum would be 20

Also we have 9 and 11 so they would be on opposite side because they add up to give 20

Then we left with 5 and now to make it 20

There have to be 15 on its opposite side

So opposite pair would be { 5 , 15 } ; { 6 , 14 } ; { 9 , 11 }

Therefore Answer is E - 15
