A special property of DNA that ensures the equal distribution of similar genetic material to the offspring is known as replication.

The traits from the parents are inherited to the offspring.

Every cell that is in the body would comprise of 23 pairs of chromosomes.

Each chromosome from every pair is inherited from mother and another chromosome is inherited from the father.

These chromosomes will have the genes that are inherited from the parents.
