a speech about global warming in simple words

ANSWER :
The globe is heating up. Both land and oceans are warmer now than they were when record keeping began, in 1880, and temperatures are still ticking upward. This rise in heat is global warming, in a nutshell.
How the greenhouse effect plays a role
The main driver of today's warming is the combustion of fossil fuels. These hydrocarbons heat up the planet via the greenhouse effect, which is caused by the interaction between Earth's atmosphere and incoming radiation from the sun.
"The basic physics of the greenhouse effect were figured out more than a hundred years ago by a smart guy using only pencil and paper," Josef Werne, a professor of geology and environmental science at the University of Pittsburgh, told Live Science.
That "smart guy" was Svante Arrhenius, a Swedish scientist and eventual Nobel Prize winner. Simply put, solar radiation hits Earth's surface and then bounces back toward the atmosphere as heat. Gases in the atmosphere trap this heat, preventing it from escaping into the void of space (good news for life on the planet). In a paper presented in 1895, Arrhenius figured out that greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide could trap heat close to the Earth's surface, and that small changes in the amount of those gases could make a big difference in how much heat was trapped.
Answer:
Global warming is defined as the process of increasing the average temperature of the earth’s climatic system due to the increased accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The consequences of global warming around the world are already being seen in the year 2020 with the rising sea levels, forest fires, earthquakes floods and other such natural occurrences. Global warming not only has an impact on nature but also has an impact on all the living beings including human beings on the planet. Global warming will affect the agricultural cycle and make predictions of climatic conditions even more difficult for scientists and engineers which in turn increases the damage caused due to natural calamities on life and property.
Some of the main reasons for global warming is the burning of fossil fuels that release harmful greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen. Water vapour, carbon dioxide and Methane are some of the most harmful greenhouse gases that are accumulating at an increasing rate in the earth’s atmosphere. These greenhouse gases are depleting the ozone layer that protects the surface of the earth from the harmful ultraviolet radiation coming from the Sun.
I will Conclude my short global warming speech by saying that the international community has to come forward to find a long-lasting solution to global warming. If not, then the average temperature keeps increasing and that in turn affects the natural cycle and the basic structure of the ecosystem and the world as we know it will be changed forever.
