Explanation:
On the eve of our 71st Republic Day, I extend my warm greetings to all of you, in India and abroad.
Seven decades ago, on 26th January, our Constitution came into effect. Even before that, this date had acquired special significance. Having resolved to attain 'Purna Swaraj', our people had been celebrating 'Purna Swaraj Day' on every 26th January from 1930 to 1947. That is why, in 1950 we embarked our journey as a Republic on the 26thJanuary, affirming to the principles laid down in our Constitution. Since then, every year we celebrate our Republic Day on 26th January.
The modern State comprises the three organs - Legislature, Executive and Judiciary, which are necessarily interlinked and interdependent. Yet, on ground, the people comprise the State. 'We the People' are the prime movers of the Republic. With us, the people of India rests the real power to decide our collective future.
Our Constitution gave us rights as citizens of a free democratic nation, but also placed on us the responsibility to always adhere to the central tenets of our democracy - justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. It becomes easier for us to follow these constitutional ideals, if we keep in mind the life and values of the Father of our Nation. By doing so, we will be adding a meaningful dimension to our celebrations of 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji.

A very Good morning to all of my friends, respected teachers, director and principal. I congratulate all of you on the celebrations on the 72th republic day of India. On this day, we become a republic country from the dominion of Britishers in 1950. Britishers ruled for country for about 150 years, After lot of struggle and effort by Indian freedom fighters, India finally got independence on 15th August 1947. After getting independent, there were still some things and rules that need to be changed which were applied by britishers, In short India needs it's own constitution.
Constitution of India is written by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and this constitution was approved by our First prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru. From 26th January 1950, India started to follow the constitution and it's rules. There are about 380 articles in our constitution, each article defines the different things.
We should remember our Freedom Fighters who really struggled and worked to get the India independent. Mahatma Gandhi, Lokmanya Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose have struggled a lot against the britishers to get India Independent.
Particularly, we should thank to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar who architect the Constitution of India. Today, India is one of the top-most developed country in the world. From last 50 years, India is a fastest progressive country all over the world. Our leaders and Freedom Fighters have struggled a lot to get republic nation. If this leaders weren't part of this country, then maybe, today we were living under the britishers rule.
Today, we should pledge to our motherland to make our country Poor free, Corruption free, Narrow-Mindedness etc. Let's make India a clean country free our corruption and Poor people. About Billion people lives in India with unity and with the same thoughts. This make the India a great country.
