From the ancestor time India is famous for its agriculture . Among the highest production of staple food, India comes 2nd after America.As the geographical feature is favorable for agriculture .But there is no Political condition favorable to these agriculture condition.Indian agriculture is stagnant and infact  is degrading day by day.In year 2000-2002 212 million tons food grain are produces , in 2008-2009 it reduces to 182.3 million tons.Indian is developing on the paper only but the ground really  is totally different  . Government  is busy on there lip services that the sooner India  will be a developed country,but their is 70% population is below poverty line.India has vast fertile land and favorable climatic
condition,and man power but everything is in vain. Around 38 million hectare of land is fallow,there is good amount of occur but lack of storage facilities these water are wasted.Almost lakhs of farmer died because of poverty and the hunger government doesn't help to those farmer technical field as well as financially. Now the condition is so deplorable that  the price of good grain is quite low compare to electricity and diesel,so the could not use their facilities to improve there production with technology.government is lending fertile land to company for the development, But lacking of the factthe maximum number of poverty is in the industial place.looking at e.g jharkand has the maximum number of industry i.ejamshedpur "TATA STEEL" bokaro "BOKARO STEEL" dhanbad "COAL" but still jharkand has large number of poverty and look at punjab and haranya ,they are rich in their agriculture and interesting fact is that at there is almost negligible poverty in these states . So to survival ,food is most important and to prosper in Indian government must look at the agriculture.
