Independence day was the historic day for India as on 15of August in 1947 the citizens of India get freedom after the 2000years of slavery from the British . British came in India as travellers and then as businessman and then they set up their industries first at Surat and then at other states and slowly grab India and used India as resource for development of their own country because of which India ,which was called the golden bird because of its rich slowly became a poor country and British used Indians as slaves and there was no value of life of Indians for the British people. Later on some aggressive patriotic Indians started to fight the British people to get back their freedom and the first war against British was started in 1956 and later on many leaders came in front to get back the freedom of MOTHER INDIA from the British . Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi helped India to get freedom in a very creative manner . He along with his supporters conducted many types of movements like SMON GO BACK, DANDI MARCK,QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT ,etc and helped in getting freedom in a peaceful manner. Many other types of leaders like the great Subhas Chandra Bose ,Bharat Singh,Chandra Sekhar Azad come in front in order to fight the British in an aggressive manner. They used weapons to get back their freedom . They all were killed by British at young ages . And many people gave their lives in order to get the freedom .A SALUTE TO ALL THOSE WHO STAND FOR SAVING THEIR MOTHER INDIA.

We celebrate Independence day every year on 15th of August because India got freedom on the night of 14th of August in 1947. Just after the independence of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had given a speech on the Independence day in New Delhi.
