Let man's original income be Rs. 100
So in this case
Expenditure >>>>>>> Rs. 75
Savings >>>>>>>>> Rs. 25
Now His new salary = 120/100 × 100
= Rs. 120
In this case expenditure = Rs. 75 + 10% of 75
New Expenditure = Rs. 75 + 7.5
= Rs. 82.5
Therefore,
Savings = 120 - 82.5
= Rs. 37.5
INCREASE IN SAVINGS = 37.5 - 25
= Rs. 12.5
INCREASE % = 12.5/100 × 100
=> 12.5%
ANSWER = 12.5 %
