weight of sphere = mass * gravity

= 2 * 9.8 = 19.6

upthrust = volume of fluid displaced * density of fluid * gravity (fluid being water in this case)

value of upthrust = 2.5 * 10^-4 * 103 * 9.8

= 0.25

Reduced weight = actual weight - upthrust

= 19.6 - 0.25

= 19.35
