diameter of the cylindrical vessel is 24 cm. If the sphere is completely submerged in water, by how much

will the level of water rise in the cylindrical vessel?​

Radius=6 cm

Diameter of vessel=24cm

Radius=12 cm

Let level of water rise in cylinder be x cm.

By the condition,

Volume of sphere will be equal to volume of cylindrical cylinder

Putting the values ,we get

4/3×Π×6^3 =Π×12^2 ×x

x=(4×6×6×6)/(3×12×12)

x=2 cm
