Step-by-step explanation:

let x be the level of water increased in vessel.

volume of sphere=volume of water level increased

4/3×pi×r^3=pi×r^2×h

4/3×(9)^3=(12)^2×x

4/3×729=144×x

4×243/144=x

243/36=x

x=6.75cm

so water level is raised by 6.75cm
