Answer:

FIRST THE FORMULA OF

DENSITY:

p \:  =  \frac{mass}{volume}

________________________________________________

DENSITY OF THE

MATERIAL:

p \:  =  \frac{500 \: kg}{1.4}

p \:  = 357.142857143

p \:  = approx \: 357 \: is \: the \: density

Explanation:

We know that Density = Mass / Volume

Volume of sphere = 4/3 pi r³

Radius of sphere = 1.4m = 140cm

Volume of sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × (1.4m)³

= 11.5 m³

Mass of sphere = 500kg

Density = 500kg / 11.5 m³ = 43.5 kg/m³(Approx.)

1 g/cm³ = 1000kg/m³

So 43.5 kg/m³ = 0.0435 g/cm³

So the sphere has density of 43.5 kg/m³ or 0.0435 g/cm³..
