Hey there!!

The given radius = 10 cm

The volume of the sphere = ( 4 ÷ 3 ) π r³

( 4 ÷ 3 ) π ( 10 )³

( 4000 ÷ 3 )π

Now, water displaced is equal to the volume of the sphere

Says, water level raised by 10 / 3 cm

Height = 10 / 3 cm

shape of the vessel = cylinder

Let r is the radius of the cylinder.

Now, volume of the water displaced = ( 4000 ÷ 3 )π

Volume of cylinder = water displaced

πr²h = ( 4000 ÷ 3 )π

r²h = ( 4000 ÷ 3 )

r² ( 10 / 3 ) = ( 4000 / 3 )

r² ( 10 ) = 4000

r² = 400

r = 20 cm

Radius of cylindrical vessel = 20 cm
