Radius of sphere = r = 18cm
Volume of sphere = (4/3)*(22/7)*r^3 = (4/3)*(22/7)*18^3
Radius of cylinder = R = 18cm
Let the rise in height of cylinder be h cm.
Volume of cylinder = (22/7)*r^2*h = (22/7)*18^2*h
The rise in water level = [(4/3)*(22/7)*18^3]/[(22/7)*18^2*h] = 6*4 = 24 cm

The rise in height is 24
cm......
