Yes the surface of the sphere equal to curved surface area of the cylinder.

surface area of cylinder=2 × π r^2 × h

h=diameter of cylinder/sphere

=2r

therefore surface area of cylinder=2 × π × r^2 × 2r

=4 x π x r ³

which is equal to the surface area of sphere that is 4×pi×r^3

hence proved
