the total surface area  of each of those parts

Solution:

Total surface area (TSA) of sphere = 4πr²

where 'r' is the radius of the sphere

When it is divided into 4 equal spheres,

TSA of each sphere = TSA of the original sphere/4 = (4πr²/4) = πr²

Hence, the total surface area  of each of those parts is πr²
