when mirror is cut half horizontally

then the radius of the mirror will not change

As we know that focal length of the mirror depends on its radius of curvature

so we can write

f = \frac{R}{2}

now as we know that image position is determined by formula

\frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u} = \frac{1}{f}

now since object position and focal length both remains the same

so image position will not change and remains the same

so image will be at same position as that of initial position

only change is in the intensity of the image formed

intensity of the image that will form becomes less or half that of initial intensity

because the part of lens which will reflect the light is smaller now

so the image formed now is of less intensity

so we will get the image at same position with lesser intensity
