Since both the balls fall under the same acceleration due to gravity, they both are initially at rest before the release and travel through the same distance without air resistance.

h=u.t+\frac{1}{2} g.t^2

here:

u = initial velocity

t = time taken

g = acceleration due to gravity

h = height of fall

The above equation is  independent of mass and other parameters are same.
