⍟⍟❛A sponge has many minute holes which are occupied by air. When we press a sponge, air from the holes is expelled out and we are able to compress it. In fact, Sponge is compressible due to the presence of air in the minute holes. Hence, sponge can be compressed easily although other solids are imcompressible.
