spoons made of metal...  they can vibrate very rapidly  when hit against a solid object.  That frequency of vibration is in the audible range of 20 Hz to 3 kHz.    So spoon can generate sound waves and we can hear them..

you can prove this by hitting the spoon to an other metal surface it produce the same type of sound which bell produces
