A spoon is made of hard metal like zinc and copper.
we know that it it the property of of metal to produce metallic sound or sonorous.
so,a spoon can sound like a bell.

spoon is metal, we all know.

recall the physical properties of metals.
yes metals are sonorous, means they produce sound.

metals are sonorous means they make a ringing sound when we strike them.
sonorous means capable of making a ringing sound.

let's take other examples to make this point more clear.

if we drop a coin or a metal utensil on the floor of the house,we hear a ringing sound.
and in the case of a bell,when the clapper(hammer) of an electronic bell strikes the metal gong,even then a ringing sound is produced.so,metal objects make sounds and spoon is also a metals such as copper, silver, steel,such that it makes sound.
