A sports car moving at constant speed travels 110 m in 5 s. If it then brakes and comes to a stop in 4 s, what is its deceleration?

distance=110m
t=5s
speed=distance/time=22m/s(from above given information)
u=22m/s
v=0m/s(since it comes to rest)
time to stop=4s
a=(v-u)/t
=(0-22)/4
=  -5.5m/s²
