A spring is stretched 2cm by a weight of 2N. Calculate the spring constant (k) ? ( convert cm to m )

K = Force acting on the spring/Deflection in the spring

Where K is in N/m , Force is in N & Deflection in the spring is in m.

So, we have to convert 2 cm into m which is 0.02m.

2 = (Force)/0.05

Force = 2*0.02

Force = 0.04 N.
