a spuare park which has a side of length 40m has a concentric square with side of 35m inside it. Find the cost of cementing is 50 rupees per sq. m

 \sf \bf \huge {\boxed {\mathbb {ANSWER}}}

     = Rs. 18750

 \sf \bf {\boxed {\mathbb {SOLUTION}}}

area required for cementing = ar(lareger square) - ar(smaller square)

      = (40)^2 - (35)^2

= 1600-1225

= 375 sq.m

cost = 375 × 50

     = Rs. 18750

Answer:

area required for cementing = ar(lareger square) - ar(smaller square)

= (40)^2 - (35)^2=(40)

2

−(35)

2

= 1600-1225=

= 375 sq.m

cost = 375 × 50

= Rs. 18750
