Answer:

1089 meter square.

step-by-step explainnation:

Let the side of ground be x.

According to Question

Area of ground and path is 1225 sq. m

path is 2 m wide

From above==> (x+2)(x+2) = 1225

(x+2)^2 = 1225

Square rooting both side

x+2 = 35

x = 33 m

As side of ground is 33 m

Area = side *side ==> 33*33

=1089 square meter
