so basically the figure looks kinda like a 2D house

we have to take out it's perimeter.

let the perimeter be zero right now

the top two sides are the sides of the equilateral triangle

so we can add 15+15 to the perimeter,which makes it thirty

then three sides of the square makes up the perimeter of the figure too

since the square had a side common with the equilateral triangle

all its sides have to be 15mm

cause square has equal sides

then we add 15+15+15 to the perimeter, which now makes it 75mm
