Side = 44 ÷ 4
Side = 11 cm
=> Perimeter/circumference of circle = 44
Circumference = 2πr
44 = 2πr
r = 44/(2π)
r = 44/(2 × 22/7)
r = 44/(44/7)
r = 44 × 7/44
r = 7
Now, finding the area of both of them,
=> Area of square = side × side
Area = 11 × 11
Area = 121 cm^2
=> Area of circle = πr^2
Area = 22/7 × 7 × 7
Area = 22 × 7
Area = 154 cm^2
(Area of circle > Area of Square) by 33 cm^2.
