Sides of square = 16cm
Area of square = side×side
= 16×16
=256 cm^2
We know
Area of // = base×height

Given: heght=8cm

Therefore area of // = base×8

Since area of swuare and // is equal therefore,

Base×8 = 256

Base = 32cm
Hope this helps you:)

Area of square = side× side
=16× 16 = 256
Area of square = Area of parallelogram
256 = h × b
256 = 8 × b
b = 256/8
b = 32 cm
Hope this would help you.
