A square and a rectangle are of the same perimeter. the length of the side of the square is 8cm. If the width of the rectangle is 6cm, Find the length of the rectangle and hence find its area.

Answer:

length = 2×l+b = 2× 8+6=28

area = l×b = 8×6=48 cm
