A square and a rectangle have equal areas .If each sides of the square is 24cm and the breadth of the rectangle is 12 cm,find the the length of the rectangle.​

Area of square = (side)^2

Area of rectangle = length * width

Area of square = 18^2

Area of rectangle = 12 * l

18*18 = 12*l

l = (18 * 18) /12

l = 27
