A square and a rectangle have equal areas. If the side of the square is 24 cm and the width of the
rectangle is 16 cm, find the length of the rectangle and its area.​

Solution :

As we know that

= Area of square = Side× Side

☆ 24×24= 576 cm²

~ Area of square is 576cm²

Lenght of Rectangle = Area÷ Breadth

= 576÷16 cm

= 36 cm

Lenght of Rectangle is 36 cm

And area is 576cm²
