Answer:

eg

if perimeter of square and rectangle is = 24

side of square= 6

l of rectangle=7

b of rectangle=5

so awe check area of rectangle and square are same or not if there perimeter are same

area of square = side²

= 6×6

=36

area of rectangle=l×b

=6×7

=42

no if perimeter are same area are not same

Answer:

Their perimeter can be same, but their square will not be same

Step-by-step explanation:

like taking length of square to be 5 cm and length of rectangle to be 6cm and breadth to be 4 cm

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

4*side = 2(l+b)

4*5 = 2(6+4)

20 = 2*10

20 = 20

Therefore perimeter can be same.

But taking same dimensions for area

Area of square = Area of rectangle

(Side)² = l*b

(5)² = 6*4

25 which is not equal to 24.

Target 3 thanks.
