perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle
(given)
so, we will first find perimeter of square
but, perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle
therefore, we will get the perimeter of rectangle
then we we will find the breadth of rectangle
then we will area of both figures
we will get to know that square has more area

Question:-

A square and a rectangular feild with measurements 60m for square 80m of retangle have same perimeter .Which has large area?

Solution:-

Given :-

The side of a square = 60m

And the lenght of rectangular feild =80m

According to question,

 \rightarrow2(l×b) =4 × side

 \rightarrow2(80+b)=4×60

 \rightarrow160+2b=240

  \rightarrow2b=240-160

 \rightarrow2b=80

 \rightarrow \: b=40m

Now \:  Area \:  of \:  Square \:  feild =(side) ^{2}  = (60)  ^{2}  = 3660m ^{2}

Now  \: Area  \: of  \: rectangular feild=lenght \times breadth = 80 \times 3200m^{2}

Hence, area of square feild is larger.
