Heya...

Here is your answer...

perimeter of rectangle = 2(120+90)

2(210)

420m

perimeter of square = 420m

4×side 420m

side = 105m

area of rectangle=120×90=10800m

area of square=105×105=11025m

clearly the area of square is greater than area of rectangle.

Thanks...!!!

XD

Sorry baby 'wink'

mayanksanwal2004: Perimeter of rectangle = 2(120+90)
240+ 180=
420m
Perimeter of square = 420m
4×Side 420m
Side =420/4
Side = 105m
Area of rectangle=120×90=10800m
Area of square=105×105=11025m

Then, the area of square is greater than area of rectangle.

Solutions :-

Given :

Perimeter of Square = Perimeter of rectangle

Length of Rectangle = 120 m
Breadth of rectangle = 90 m

Find the perimeter of rectangle :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)
= 2(120 + 90) m
= 2 × 210 m
= 420 m

Find the side of square :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side
=> 420 = 4 × side
=> side = 420/4 = 105 m

Now,
Find the area of rectangle :-

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth
= (120 × 90) m²
= 10800 m²

Find the area of square :-

Area of square = side × side
= (105 × 105) m²
= 11025 m²

Here,
11025 m² > 10800 m²

Hence,
Square has greater area than the rectangle.
