Answer:

given perimeter of square =perimeter of rectangle

4s=2 (120+90)

4s=2 (210)

4s=420

s=420/4

s=105cm

side of square is 105cm..

Area of square:

s×s=105×105

=11025cm^2

Area of rectangle:

Length ×breadth

=120×90

=10800cm^2

There fore area of square is greater than rectangle

Answer:

the squre filed has a greater area then rectangular filed.

Step-by-step explanation:

the dimensions of rectangular filed is given as follows 120m and 90m so area of rectangular filed is

l×b(120m×90m)

=10800m²

and perimeter of rectangular filed is

2(l+b)

=2(120+90)

420m

and sqaure filed's perimeter =rectangular filed's perimeter so

420m=420m

and one side of square filed is 420÷4(because square has four equal side)=105m

area of square= side×side

=105m×105m

=11,025m²
