A square and a rhombus have the same base. Of the rhombus is inclined at 30 degree, then what is the ratio of the area of square and area of rhombus

In the figure, Consider a square and rhombus each with side length s

For square,
Area of square = s^2

For rhombus,
sin 30 = length of opposite side / length of hypotenuse
length of opposite side = sin 30 × length of hypotenuse
length of opposite side = 0.5×s

Area of rhombus = base × height
Area of rhombus = 0.5 s^2

Area of square/area of rhombus = s^2 / 0.5s^2
Area of square/area of rhombus = 2

Ratio of Area of square to area of rhombus is 2.
