Step-by-step explanation:

Given a square and an equilateral triangle have a side in common. if a side of a triangle is 15 mm long find the perimeter

  • Given sides of a square is 15 mm = 1.5 cm
  • Now perimeter will be 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 7.5 cm
  • Now the side of the equilateral triangle is 15 mm or 1.5 cm therefore the sides of the square will also be 15 mm or 1.5 cm.
  • Therefore altogether we have 5 equal sides and hence the                                  perimeter will be  5 x 15 mm or 5 x 1.5 cm = 7.5 cm
